Today, we reflect on the life of our former leader, Dorsey Howard, Jr., 20 years gone. Howard served at the Harrisburg Housing Authority, circa 1985 – 2001. Reflecting upon his leadership, accomplishments, and what could have been. Compassionate about his family, extended family (HHA staff), and residents alike. A staunch supporter of programs for public housing’s kids. Collaborator, mover, shaker. Heart of gold. Worked hard, played hard. Skillful golfer. 58 years young. Man, he left us too soon. “Twenty years nowWhere’d they go? Twenty years, I don’t know. I sit and I wonder sometimes. Where they’ve gone.”
