Business Opportunities at HHA

The Harrisburg Housing Authority is moving to a new electronic procurement process via Bonfire. Bonfire is a secure bid program that allows businesses to receive solicitation notices and provide bidder information without disclosing the bidder information to unauthorized third parties or competitors. All major HHA solicitations will be available online through the Bonfire program at no cost to the user. 

 Vendors are required to register for the Bonfire program.

HHA does business with local and resident-owned companies.

HHA is committed to improving the City of Harrisburg’s economy through the intelligent operation of its business-oriented departments. HHA also supports the increase in and improvement of small, minority-owned, women-owned, and otherwise disadvantaged businesses.  HHA’s  Procurement Policy encourages work with disadvantaged businesses, as does the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Furthermore, HHA is committed to working with our vendors to meet Section 3 requirements and provide economic opportunities to the communities we serve.
