The Harrisburg Housing Authority is moving to an electronic procurement process via TranSpire. TranSpire is a secure Bid Program that allows businesses to receive solicitation notices and provide bidder information without disclosure of the bidder information to unauthorized third-parties or competitors. All major HHA solicitations are available online through the TranSpire program at no cost to the user.
To use the Transpire, register at https://nahro.economicengine.com/requests.html?company_id=443 . Once registered, all HHA bid opportunities will be accessible to the registered user. Access, also, allows automatic notification of other opportunities that match a particular business product and/or service.
HHA does business with many local and resident-owned companies.
HHA is committed to improving the City of Harrisburg's economy through the intelligent operation of its business-oriented departments. HHA also supports the increase in and improvement of small, minority-owned, women owned and otherwise disadvantaged businesses. HHA's Procurement Policy encourages work with disadvantaged businesses, as does the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Furthermore, HHA is committed to working with our vendors to meet Section 3 requirements and provide economic opportunities to the communities we serve.
To learn about HHA's current work with disadvantaged businesses and Section 3 contractors refer to our Planning and Development Page, under the "What's New" section.
